Birthday Nieces

We spent last weekend in WI celebrating Izzy & Sami's birthdays (3 & 1). The weekend was a ton of fun and great to get all the girls together. Sienna got to try her first ice cream cone but I kept her away from trying a cupcake. Gotta save that one for her actual first birthday! The ice cream also meant her first bath with 2 other girls. She was not sure what to think of it especially as she kept getting knocked over. :) Luckily Mom stayed close to save her. Here's the picture highlights!

Pony

My camera phone is becoming much to slow for my busy little girl. When I picked her up from daycare yesterday, Bita had put her first pony tail in. I had to capture how cute it was. Here's my attempts.

Foods News!

They have released the new State Fair foods for this year. I am very excited to go since I missed out last year. I wasn't too impressed with the list this year, but here's a few that intrigued me.


Deep Fried Cookie Dough - love me some cookie dough, and anything deep fried is great. This is on the must try list.


Sweet Corn Ice Cream - I am really not sure what to think of this. Most of me says disgusting the rest of me wants to taste a few bites.

In other news there's another restaurant week coming up July 10-15. Not too many menu's up yet but I can't wait to see them and am hoping to hit up at least one.

New Tricks

Cheesy parent video time! (you know you love them) Here's a minute and a half of Sienna and her latest tricks. She's waving, clapping, doing Soooo Big! and even saying a few Da Das at the end. I really need to try and use our tripod or sit back a little farther so I quit cutting off her head. :) One of these days I'll learn.

Another Week

I've been blog slacking! Another week has passed by quickly without much excitement. Last weekend our days were filled with soaking up as much sun and outdoor activities as we could manage. Sienna purchased a wagon with some of her photo contest winnings (yes, the rest is going to college) and it has become one of her favorite places to hang out. I am also a huge fan because while she sits in it I can do a little yard work and wheel her around with me. If it was up to her I would be constantly pushing her around. She LOVES being on the move and tries to use her body to pump the wagon along (it doesn't work). I think we might have an adrenaline junkie on our hands.

The days of her sitting contently are soon to be over. Justin came into her room yesterday morning and before he could pick out her outfit, she had crawled to the side of the crib and pulled herself up. She's been getting up on all 4's quite a bit but isn't sure what to do next. Any day now it might happen...

Justin and I have a big weekend coming up. Nana and Grandpa are taking Sienna for her first over night on Saturday! We are all very excited and hoping it goes well. Everyone think thoughts of good sleep so she is welcomed back. :)

Memorial Day

Cran did a wonderful blog post to sum our 8th annual Memorial Day BBQ. We had a great time with the chaos of 6 little girls running around (or sleeping in Ariana's case). The weather was hot but rainless so we got to enjoy some outdoor time.
