3 Months

Kensi,

Here we are at 3 months. Big month for both of us. We survived the first week of daycare and now Daddy being out of town. You have changed a lot this month. Right around the 11 week mark you became a new baby. Or I should say you went back to being the mellow baby you came out as. You decide people besides Mom are fun too. You'll give them big smiles and even let them hold you. Bita says you are one of the best babies she's had because you never cry and are full of chatter. She also thinks you are going to rival your sister in talking; Lord help us when that starts! You also love love love your play mat and will sit under it forever. You grab at all of your toys and are starting to try and bring some to your mouth. Usually your hands get there first which makes you content. 

Nana's quilt came in time for the 3 month pictures. It's a super cute owl and it's huge! Here's you compare to the size of it. (And you are big!)

You are still rocking your tummy time and don't mind hanging out there for awhile.

Daycare

This week has been crazy. Work is extremely busy and they had no problem throwing me right back into the thick of it. Week nights are also really busy trying to soak up as much of my baby as possible, give Sienna the attention she needs, make dinner, and do all the usual things. We are very lucky to have a great daycare provider.  The best part of my workdays come when Bita texts me a photo and gives me an update on Kensi. Such a great feeling to see that she's happy and know how loved she is there. 

Back To Reality

12 weeks goes so fast. Next week I'm back to work! Hard to believe. All the snowy days forced us to stay home and have lots of snuggle and chatting time. Kensi and I were also well traveled around the city as it was a lot easier for me to leave the house and go places. I think it was due to partially a quicker recovery and mostly because I was so used to having a kid with me. Trips to Target were no big deal and didn't cause nightmares like the first time around.

We spent many days hanging out at Nana's house.

Lots of tummy time was had and look at how great she's doing!

My favorite time of day was our morning chats. She was always full of smiles, coos, and stories for me.

I'm not nearly as worried about going back to work this time. I'll definitely miss my baby, but I know the routine. Again, not so scary. Kensi turned a corner last week and decided other people beside Mama are ok. We had a practice afternoon at Bita's yesterday and she did fabulous so I know she'll do great at daycare.

Easter

Another holiday come and gone. Easter this year was fun as always especially as the kids get more into it. We found a very fun Easter kids church service that Sienna and I went to with my parents on Saturday. Here's Sienna before we left.

Saturday night we put out carrots for the Easter Bunny. I asked Sienna if we should leave him something to drink. She said pink pop!! We didn't have anything pink so orange was as close as we could get.

Sunday morning came and Sienna hunted for her and Kensis' baskets. Kensi's was hidden in her baby swing. Sienna took out all of her loot and showed it to Kensi.

Then she was off to find her basket. It was hidden under her table. The Bunny got her first bike helmet, a new fairy puzzle, a microphone which she hasn't stopped singing into, a pirate telescope and a little candy. A Cadbury egg just might have been consumed before 9 am that morning.

And getting 3 was near impossible.

Cari, Ariana, Mom, Ron, John, Donna, and Grammy all joined us for Easter lunch at our house. 

No Easter is complete without an Easter egg hunt. Notice Sienna doing here "searching" pose.
