Close up...too close? :)
And my boys just because they are cute!

I was so excited the other day when I came home from work. Justin reported that our asparagus has started growing in the garden and it looks like it's going to be edible this year!! I know most asparagus says it takes a couple years before you can eat it. The stuff we bought said it's usually ready by year 2 to eat. Last year they were long stalks with flowers. Looked more like weeds. And this year...
Far away view – ignore all those weeds. They are thriving too :(
Close up. See those tips!
We also started some veggies indoors the other weekend – tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. They are coming along very well minus the cilantro. I just can’t get that stuff to take off!
Tomato close up.
I’ve been a little MIA from the blog this past week because I was in AZ visiting my parents forever friends Roger & Sue and also seeing the new house my parents bought! Since the house is so new they didn’t have any furniture in it. We did some shopping around but didn’t buy too much. We spent most of the weekend lounging around in the sun. The weather was perfect in the upper 70s and low 80s. Can’t ask for better than that!
Backyard view from the house we stayed at (Roger & Sue’s) So beautiful! I spent a lot of time reading my Nook here.
Tangelo tree in my parents backyard. The fruit wasn’t great but the juice it made was excellent!
In front of the new house. We planted a few pots of flowers to make it look homey.

Took a lot more pics and you can see them all if you’d like!
